My favorite photograph is...

Is very difficult when you have to choose a photograph like your favorite, more when you love the photography (a few people know this about me). In this case, the photograph that I choose is very important for me, because it was taken for me and my old camera.
I remember perfectly when I took this picture, it was in December of the year 2012 in the Forestal Park, this place is in Santiago in the commune of Providencia. This day, my boyfriend and me went to “Costanera Center” to buy a coffee in Starbucks. Then we decided to walk, while we drank the coffee, to the Forestal Park to take pictures with, in this moment, my new camera.
This photograph is important for me because this is the first picture that I toke that I really liked. Another important thing that I love in this photo is the man with the hat that say “The Beatles”, he is my boyfriend. This photograph brings back beautiful memories. I really love this photo for the colors, and the contrast of the background and the man.

Music: My favorite band

Today I will write about music, in this case I will reveal which one is my favorite band. Maybe you don’t know who are the people of the background here in my blog: they are The Beatles, the best band of the world and the universe. The Beatles was formed around the 60’s in Liverpool, England.

The first time that I listened this group I thought that they played only rock and roll music, but then I met a guy and he taught me many things about The Beatles that I didn’t know (love for him hahaha).

Since rock and roll to Indian songs, ¿can I request something more? The sound of The Beatles is so particular, the music of this four guys of Liverpool was changing all years: rock and roll, romantic, psychedelic, Indian or rock music.

When I listen The Beatles I feel fine, they do that the sun bright more than the normal days. I really love this band, their music and all their members: John, Paul, Ringo and, above all, George, he is my idol.

Today I’m in the Chilean Beatle Community, here all fans of The Beatles can talk about the fab four, make commentaries about The Beatles or share different pictures. Another thig about this band and me is that, in the past, I was the singer of a Beatle tribute band. Here I met my actual boyfriend, he did the guitarist.

Do you like movies?

I’m not a big fan of movies; I like them but not very very much, in my free time I prefer listen to music or do something different. In spite of this when I watch movies my favourite type are drama, comedy or romance, because I love watch films that makes me cry (It seems pathetic, but, i don’t know, I really enjoy it)

One of my favourite movies is "The eternal sunshine of spotless mind". I love the plot and the characters of this film, is very interesting. The leading roles are interpreted Kate Winslet, like Clementine, and Jim Carrey like Joel. The first time that I watched this movie I was shocked with the performance of Carrey because I accustomed to see him only in comedy movies. At first I didn't noticed that he was him!

Another type of movie that I really love are the animated films. This kind of movie includes all, drama, comedy, action, romance, etc. Some animated movies that really like it are "Toy Story" ( 1,2 or 3), "Tarzán", "UP", "Anastasia", "The book of life" and all the movies of princesses. The last one that I watched was The book of life, is so beautiful in all ways: the plot, the drawings, the characters, ALL! I watched it like five times.

Now is my time to ask to you, do you like movies? which one is you favorite?

I couldn’t live without my cell phone :(

My favorite piece of technology is the cellphone, because I do many things with this. The cellphone is present in my life since I wake up and I hear my alarm to go to the university. Then, when I get up, I listen to music with my phone to do my morning more funny and interesting.

One time that I go out of my home is harder to me don’t use my cellphone, because I receive mails of the university, messages from my friend and family in Facebook or Whatsapp and I listen to music while I walk to the campus. Also, with this piece of technology I can search concepts that I don’t understand in the classes, it help me a lot. 

My cellphone is so important in my leisure time, because with this I can play different games or watch some videos in Youtube. Another thing that I can do with this thing is take photos and make funny videos, the cellphone helps to keep memories.  

 I’m with my cellphone every day, every hour and every second for this piece of technology is so important for me.

Introducing me

Hi everybody who's reading!

My name is Karla Muñoz Ulloa, I’m 19 years old. At this moment I’m studying journalism at the Institute of Communication and Image (ICEI, in Spanish: Instituto de la Comunicación e Imagen) of the University of Chile. I'm in my second year of the career.

I live in the “Big Capital”, in Santiago, specifically in the commune of Macul. I have lived all my life in that place, in the same house.

One of the things I like most is the music; I'm always listening to songs and singing. My favourite band is The Beatles, from the first time I heard them I felt a special connection with their songs.

I don’t know what more say about me, so I think that this is the end.

My expectations for this semester

In the first semester of this year I have four subjects: “Chronic and interview”, “Analysis of fixed image”, “Interpersonal Communication” and “English III”.  Apart of this four subjects, in this moment, I have one CFG (General training course, in Spanish: Curso de Formación General). I’m thinking to take a new CFG, but something related with sports, like dance.  So I would have two CFGs in the next month.

For me is difficult think about the expectations that I have this semester because I don’t know what will happen in the future, sometimes it scares me.  I hope that this year will be like the past year: a little relaxed, but that requires effort. I don’t want stress me, because I’m very exigent with myself.

For the end, I think that the most important expectation that I have and that all my partners have is pass all the subjects and don’t do any exam. Hopefully this semester will be good for me and all my partners
